I liked meeting the students! Davis is pretty isolated, and there wasn't too much to do unless you traveled outside of Davis. Most of my enjoyable memories were from when I met new people and got to know them better. I met some friends that I know will impact me for the rest of my life. I am and will always be forever grateful for them. There were so many new perspectives that I was introduced to, and I feel that they made me more solidified in who I am and who I want to be. I do wish that I had more time to explore my interests both socially and academically, but I'm glad that to some extent I did this. I also found that while the students were fairly united in their preferences for some things, the university itself wasn't the most perceptive to student requests and concerns. My only suggestion for the university would be for it to take the time to listen to its students, especially if the students feel strongly about what they are bringing attention to.

As an international student from India, I can confidently say that UC Davis offers an exceptional experience. The campus provides a welcoming and inclusive environment, making it easy for students from diverse backgrounds to feel at home. The academic programs are top-notch, with dedicated faculty who are experts in their fields. The campus facilities are modern and well-equipped, providing ample resources for both learning and recreation. Additionally, the university's location in California offers numerous opportunities for internships, research, and cultural exploration. Overall, UC Davis has exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to any prospective student seeking a world-class education.

It is a great environment, everyone is very nice! Professors are decent, although many don't record lectures or provide lecture notes.
