Baldur’s Gate 3: How To Find Every Missing Tiefling (2024)

The Tieflings are recurring characters that can be seen throughout the player’s playthrough of Baldur’s Gate 3.

These Tieflings are especially good at getting into trouble, so the player has the option to help them out and save them on many occasions. If the player goes through the trouble of doing all that, they will be rewarded with an Achievement called ‘Leave no One Behind.’

Finding And Saving The Tieflings

Throughout the player’s playthrough of Baldur’s Gate 3, they will be able to come to the rescue of the Tieflings many times.

Saving them all can be quite taxing, as the player will have to go out of their way quite a few times during the game to find and help them. Without a list of what to do and how to do it, the players can, understandably, fail to save them all.

Leave No One Behind Achievement

The player will have to try to and rescue every Tiefling in the hope of getting the Leave No One Behind Achievement.

This achievement will only be unlocked if the player is able to save all the Tieflings, which can be hard as it will span over all three Acts of BG3. The player shouldn’t miss any, as that would lock them out of the Leave No One Behind Achievement.

This achievement is specifically one of the hardest to complete, with just about 4% of players completing it, and likely not on their first playthrough as well.

Tieflings In Act 1

Act 1 will first introduce the player to the Tieflings who will be, for the time being, staying in the Emerald Grove. From that point onward, the Tieflings will play a pretty major role in the game’s Act 1, as their fate will be tied to the Act’s conclusion.

Here’s what the player should accomplish in this act to get closer to unlocking the Leave No One Behind Achievement:

• The player needs to save a Tiefling named Nadira. She will be found around the Grove’s entrance where a Bugbear assassin will take a shot on her life. The player should kill the assassin.
• The player will have to help a Tiefling child, Arabella, who is being threatened by Kagha around the Ritual Room. The player will have to talk Kagha out of it.
• The player will have to explore the beach to find a Tiefling child known as Mirkon. Both he and the player will be attacked by Harpies and you must ensure Mirkon survives.
• When the player explores the jail in the Emerald Grove, they should talk Arka out of killing the Goblin imprisoned there.
• The Player must talk to Rolan and convince him to stay with the other refugees.
• Of course, most importantly, the player should choose to save the Tieflings at the Grove by not letting the Goblins or the Druids get their way with them. There are multiple ways to do that, which can include saving Halsin from the Goblin Camp.

Tieflings In Act 2

Now, after the player has reached Act 2, they will discover that some of the Tieflings are in the Last Light Inn. In there, the Tieflings will inform the player that they were attacked and many of them are missing or dead. The player can help many of them throughout Act 2.

• When Flaming Fist Marcus attacks the Last Light Inn, the player must ensure none of the Tieflings die, which will be a huge challenge. They should also save Isobel because she is the only reason the Last Light Inn is a safe place in the Shadow Cursed Lands, and without her, everyone will die.
• The player must take the quest to find Mol, who was kidnapped in the Last Light Inn during the attack. However, she won’t be found until Act 3.
• The player must ensure Dammon’s survival if they fight the Strange Ox.
• The player will have to head to Moonrise Tower, prior to completing Ketheric Thorm’s relic quest, to save the Tieflings from the prison. The player will have to head to the prison and break them out by teaming up with Wulbern. The player will then have to fight the guards while the Tieflings flee to a boat to escape.

• Upon returning to the Last Light Inn, Rolan will have left on a quest to save the others, however, this will backfire on him. The player must save him as he is attacked by multiple Shadows at the south of the river.
• The player should find Arabella around the House of Healing and send her to the camp. The player must then complete her quest where they have to find her parents. Her parents will be found inside the House of Healing, next to one of the undead nurses on beds. The player must then break the news to Arabella, which she might not take very well. However, by Act 3, she should be doing a lot better.

• The player must save Nightsong from her fate in the Shadowfell and not allow anyone, such as Shadowheart, to kill her.
• The player will have to save Zevlor from the Mind Flayer Colony where he will be stuck in a pod, not too far from where the player will locate Mizora. The player will have to fight against a few Mind Flayers if they decide to save Zevlor, but they will be aided by the characters they freed from the pods.

Tieflings In Act 3

Now that the player has arrived in Act 3, there are still a few things to do prior to saving all the Tieflings and unlocking the Leave No One Behind Achievement. These are as follows:

• If the player fights Lorrokan at the Sorcerous Sundries, they should make sure Rolan does not die and survives the fight.
• Mol, the child that was kidnapped during the attack on the Last Light Inn during Act 2, must be found during Act 3. The player will locate Mol in Guildhall, which will be in the lower city sewers of Baldur’s Gate. Having Jaheira in the player’s party can make accessing the area where Mol is a lot easier.
• During the final battle, Zevlor can be summoned. To actually save every Tiefling, the player should make sure to not let him die.

By this point, the player will have managed to save all the Tieflings and give them the best possible ending as they avoided some very grim fates throughout the acts of Baldur’s Gate 3. Going through with saving them will of course reward the player with many items, as well as a lot of experience points. So this is all definitely worth the trouble.
